We’re still waking up from winter, but set your calendar.

Friday, April 17 the Maaskantine opens its doors again, and we’re kicking off the season the proper way: good food, DJs, cold drinks and hopefully some sunshine on the Maas. Swing by from 16:00 to celebrate the start of what’s set to be another busy summer by the water.

This year the kitchen is in the hands of Pak Pak Gauw, bringing bold Asian street food to the Maaskantine. Expect big flavours and dishes made for sharing. From bánh mì and okonomiyaki to karaage chicken, sticky tempeh and crispy tempura. Meanwhile, behind the bar we’re shaking things up too, with a few new drinks on the menu this summer season. Did anyone say Frozen Margarita?

As always, our summer calendar is stacked. Classic beachside film nights, yoga on the sand, pub quizzes and game nights are back, alongside new additions like salsa workshops and Open Mic Nights. Add sunsets over the Maas, music drifting across the terrace, and of course: the best view in town.
